Why macNewTab Uses Google OAuth

macNewTab uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate you securely. After authentication, the extension requests access to your Google Calendar so it can display your upcoming events directly on the new tab page.

The extension does not store, transmit, or share any user data. All calendar information is read-only and stays within your browser. No data is uploaded to any external servers.
